I plan to be a day older tomorrow.
I’m such a slave to the calendararchy.

“How much hours am I going to lose paying her if she gets pregnant?”
“Does she intend to marry?”
“Does she intend to have many children?”
But both legislation and common courtesy prevent that, that business will lose money because women are selfish and philoprogenitive.
Even if you can’t ask the question, the question is still valid.

The blessings of being more or less single and an outcast in school translate for me not to be continually outcast, but to refine the feelings I had.
That desire for what could not be, that forever in the friend zone… oh, let me tell you … But even with the internal resentment I might have, it was also considered, to a point, a badge of honor.
Oh, it’s silly, now, but as much...
You know how they say the Internet is forever? Let me tell you … I’ve found posts I’ve had on Usenet back in 92/93.
Can’t say I was pleased with how I presented myself back then.
“It’s just my opinion! Why can’t you just leave me alone?!?!”
Because you’re on tumblr and you posted it publicly. The Internet is like herpes.

One dancing in the middle
That’s right! Me in the shiny silver tux.
Listening to power ballads and awesome 80’s and realizing how much I loved to dance and how I hated being single in social gatherings during that time.
Boy, was I blessed, though.

Who’s not taking their fair share?
I checked my privilege. It’s making money and (unfortunately) paying taxes. What’s yours? oh.

Is there a moral equivalency to “we don’t serve your kind here” and whatever “basic human rights of people of color” actually means?
Yes, I’m saying that either it’s a basic human right, or it’s not. Being a person of color doesn’t mean those rights don’t apply to you, and you don’t have to append “of people of...

If you think the right of businesses to racially segregate is more important than the basic human rights of people of color, go fuck yourself right off a cliff.
Ron Paul never said it was more important. He just has this idea that if something isn’t constitutionally correct then you don’t vote for it. Even if it’s one tiny part of a bill.

I don’t think socialism is honestly implemented anywhere. Socialism being defined as “Worker control of the means of production”. If you would like to elaborate on how that is slavery, I’m all ears.
Inefficient? Yes. A bad idea? Yes....

How to dispose of a worn American Flag →
Because I’ll likely get hate mail for suggesting this by people who don’t like it, I’ll point this out:
The other method is to burn the flag yourself in a proper ceremony. If you are able to personally discharge your worn flag from service the ceremony that follows is the proper way.
The flag must be folded in the customary triangle fold. To do this, hold the flag parallel to...

You aren’t disallowed from doing something just because it’s not free.
You have a house. Once in a while, because you love guests, you’ll invite your friend over and enjoy the hospitality of your open house.
It’s a great thing, too, because you know what your house has? An oven. There are really great things that come out of that oven. Interestingly, that oven only makes stuff when your friend comes over. Not all the time mind you, but on occasion....

When a woman can no longer control her own reproductive system because of someone else’s religious beliefs, it is no longer freedom of religion. It is the infringement of religion onto human freedom.
What religion is that? Did someone just outlaw birth control?

Without sarcasm, I believe you. I think your view of third trimester is probably about 4 weeks too late for your reasons, though.

I didn’t want to litter that previous post with “when life begins after conception”. That is a different subject.
I’m just irritated when people equate body parts to human beings. “I lost a leg. Am I still a human being or did I just kill some person like those pro-life people believe?”
Again, another discussion for another time.
ergghhh…
When people believe life begins at conception, they really mean at conception. That means when the sperm fertilizes an egg. Sperm isn’t life, eggs aren’t life.
Fertilized eggs? life.
What if the fetus could say, “Get your hands off my body!”
Of course it can’t, because it’s not really a person.
What if a war enemy could say, “Stop killing our civilians!”
Of course it can’t, because collateral damage isn’t really a person.
I don’t mind if nobody else but I can be racist and sexist. That should take a load off everyone else’s shoulders, let me tell you.
I also learned that it doesn’t take power or privilege to be a bigot, so I can’t bear that burden alone.

Go ahead, say it … “women don’t have rights … men have all the rights”
Yeah, but you want equality. Wouldn’t it be easier just to subjugate men to the perceived level of women than to raise women up to the perceived level of men?
